A WWE star has explained how they first got into wrestling by watching Alexa Bliss and why Bliss is an inspiration.
Alexa Bliss has been praised on a number of occasions by former NXT Women’s Champion Tatum Paxley, with Paxley naming Bliss as the reason she got into wrestling in the first place.
In a new interview on Going Ringside, Paxley explained what exactly about Bliss got her hooked, saying:
“When you look at her, and you see the craziness that she can bring to the ring – she can tell stories so much with her face and her eyes. To me, she just stood out.
“She’s what helped me realize that there is more to pro-wrestling than just what you see in the ring.
“She’s the one that made me realize there is story, there’s something to connect with, there’s something to really draw you in to pro-wrestling. She’s what did that for me.
“I think everybody that falls in love with pro-wrestling, they’re falling in love with our stories and what we’re going through. She was that for me.
“Even me just YouTube-ing her, seeing little short clips of her, she could tell that story in that short time for me. I just think she’s so incredible and so talented.”

Paxley and Bliss had the chance to work together at WWE NXT Homecoming last year, when Paxley and Izzi Dame teamed up against Bliss and Charlotte Flair.
Since then, Paxley and Dame have split up, with Dame set to put her NXT Women’s North American Championship on the line against Paxley at Vengeance Day this Saturday.
