A WWE star has been confirmed to be competing in a match at an upcoming AAA event.
Yesterday it was announced that WWE NXT’s Lola Vice would be making her return to AAA, competing at the AAA Alianzas event in Monterey, Mexico on September 7 – challenging for the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships alongside WWE coach Lince Dorado.
Now we know of another WWE name that will also be in action at that same event on September 7, with AAA confirming that El Grande Americano will compete against El Fiscal on the show.
El Fiscal is the son of AAA Hall of Famer Abismo Negro and has been competing in the promotion since 2023.
Since Chad Gable underwent shoulder surgery in June, El Grande Americano has been played by Ludwig Kaiser, with Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate also appearing under Americano masks in recent weeks on WWE and AAA programming.
While Gable competed under the mask at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide in June, Kaiser’s Americano has become a fixture of the promotion and has gained massive popularity with the fans in Mexico.
Americano’s last match in the promotion came at AAA TripleMania XXXIII, taking part in a four-way for the AAA Mega Championship alongside fellow WWE stars Dominik Mysterio and Dragon Lee, as well as the winner of the match El Hijo del Vikingo.
WWE and AAA’s next Worlds Collide crossover event takes place in Las Vegas on September 12 and will be headlined by Vikingo defending his title against Dominik Mysterio once again.
