WWE Star Arrested

A WWE star was arrested on tonight’s episode of NXT television after causing weeks of mayhem on the show since their return.

The NXT Deadline premium live event back in December ended with the return of Tony D’Angelo, who had been off television for six months prior to the show.

D’Angelo would lay out Je’von Evans to close the show, and has continued to keep his eyes on the vacant NXT Championship in recent weeks.

However, D’Angelo has been bringing chaos with him, with him laying out both Dion Lennox and Joe Hendry in last week’s NXT main event.

Tony’s attacks continued this week, with him laying out both Josh Briggs and Shiloh Hill following their match, as well as taking out NXT General Manager Ava’s additional security.

This led to Ava calling the cops on Tony, with him striking again following Eli Knight and Sean Legacy’s match on the show, laying both men out.

Ava would then bring the cops out to ringside with her, with Tony willingly handing himself over to them, getting arrested.
