A WWE star has revealed that they found out about their new role at the same time as the fans watching on television.

Stone has now revealed the moment he discovered he was being offered the new opportunity during a recent appearance on Busted Open.

The interim authority figure would confirm that he found out about it on television and wasn’t aware what was happening ahead of time, saying:

“Absolutely (he found out on TV), I had no clue before, I had no clue that was happening.

“Obviously, in my mind, I knew that the position was open. I knew that Ava was no longer going to be the GM, so am I hoping for that, that weekend, am I dreaming that that could be a reality? Yes, it could change everything for me, which it has, this past month.

“I’m sitting there on the edge of my seat like a kid in a candy store, but this is professional wrestling, I can’t get excited about something before it happens, because anything could happen.”
