A second live event has been announced for an international location that WWE last visited seven years ago in 2019.
As recently reported, WWE announced a return to Hawaii in October this year after an absence of seven years.
With the announced event taking place on October 16, WWE will be bringing a second event to Hawaii, as confirmed in a recent press release.
The WWE Hawaii Live Tour will now see back-to-back events at the Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, with the press release revealing:
Due to popular demand, WWE today announced a second live event to its 2026 Hawaii Live Tour on Saturday, October 17 at Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, as part of its highly anticipated return to the Aloha State for the first time since September 2019.
WWE will deliver back-to-back nights of non-stop WWE action at Blaisdell Arena – beginning with a nearly sold-out first night on Friday, October 16 – with appearances by WWE Superstars Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins, The Usos, Jacob Fatu, “The Ruler” Oba Femi, Liv Morgan and more.
Tickets for the newly added Saturday live event will go on sale starting Friday, August 21 at 10am HST/4pm ET via Ticketmaster.com. Fans can purchase tickets during an exclusive presale beginning Wednesday, August 19 at 10am HST/4pm ET until 11:59pm HST.
The press release would confirm that a WWE tryout will be taking place at the venue, with details emerging in the coming weeks.
The Blaisdell Arena was previously the Honolulu International Center, with the venue able to seat up to 7,700 for sports events, rising to up to 8,800 for events where the performers are on the stage.
A PLE For Hawaii?
When it comes to Hawaii, SummerSlam would seem like an ideal fit for the popular tourist destination, yet a PLE is yet to make its way to the region.
With WWE making its presence felt internationally with PLEs such as this year’s Clash in Italy and taking WrestleMania 43 to Saudi Arabia, expansion is no doubt on the minds of decision-makers when it comes to global reach.
It has previously been reported that WWE Live events are being used as a test for international PLE host cities, with Cody Rhodes commenting on that mindset and noting that fan reaction has an influence.
There is, of course, a difference between an untelevised WWE event and a PLE, particularly when it comes to ticket prices. With WrestleMania 42 seeing ticket price concerns, an unnamed higher-up noted that “the audience is there. Are they inclined to pay ten gazillion dollars for tickets?”
WWE continues to bring untelevised events to the global stage, along with episodes of Raw and SmackDown, with the Monday night show heading the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland next January, and there are no doubt hopes that a PLE could follow to some of those regions.
Whether Hawaii will be on the list for a future Premium Live Event remains to be seen, but “popular demand” has seen a second show added to the tour, no doubt indicating that the fans are eager to see WWE stars in action.
