A WWE star has commented after making his return, with the star departing and re-joining the company during his absence.
Santos Escobar made his return appearance during AAA’s debut show on FOX in Latin America on January 17.
After AAA Latin American Champion El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr embraced a man wearing the mask of Fantasma, Wagner was attacked and Fantasma unmasked to reveal himself to be Santos Escobar.
The returning star has now refused to comment on speculation about his in-ring future, stating that he will address people on his time.
In a post-show video, Escobar said:
“You want to know something about me now? For six months, I was away, not one question.
“You want to know something about me? Now it’s on my time.”

It was reported in October 2025 that Santos Escobar’s WWE contract had expired, with Escobar departing the company and being removed from the roster page.
Shortly after his departure, reports revealed that Escobar had signed a new deal with the company.
Santos Escobar last wrestled during the July 27, 2025 Supershow Mexico house show.
His last televised match saw him, Angel and Berto defeat Ej Hijo del Dr Wagner Jr, Pagano and Psycho Clown at AAA X WWE Worlds Collide on June 7.
