A change made for the March 9 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw ahead of the show has now been revealed.
Monday’s episode saw the Raw roster take over the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington.
The show featured a number of significant matches, including a Gauntlet match to determine the next challenger for AJ Lee’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
A new report has revealed that the placement of this match and another match on the card were changed ahead of the show.
Per Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net, WWE swapped the positions of the Gauntlet match and the Oba Femi vs Rusev bout.
Hay’s posted the early rundown of the show, showing that original plans saw the Gauntlet match take place before the CM Punk segment which closed the show, and the Oba Femi vs Rusev clash airing after Seth Rollins’ opening segment.
In reality, the Gauntlet match was the first match of the night, as following Seth Rollins and Adam Pearce meeting in the ring, Bayley winning the Gauntlet match after taking out Ivy Nile and Asuka.
Oba Femi was victorious in his WWE Raw in-ring debut, defeating Rusev in three minutes.
