Now more details have emerged of plans for WWE in Mexico, courtesy of WrestleVotes.

According to their sources, there are plans for a number of live events in Mexico in the “near future”.

While a date and location for these shows is yet to be finalized, it was noted that the run would centre around a featured ‘SuperShow Mexico’ event.

These shows would be significant as WWE has massively reduced the number of live events taking place, with it recently noted that WWE will “continue to prune.”

This comes after Angel and Berto of Los Garza were  announced for AAA TripleMania Regia on June 15.

The show won’t just feature AAA and WWE stars, however, with four TNA Wrestling champions set to wrestle, including Joe Hendry.

WWE Women’s US Championship Zelina Vega has also pitched defending her title in AAA.

Not only did Vega suggest defending the championship in AAA, she would also name a potential opponent, along with other challenges.

Mexico isn’t the only international destination for WWE, with Night of Champions returning to Saudi Arabia on June 28.
