An update has emerged for plans involving an imposing WWE star who was last seen on screen in early April 2024.

Former WWE Tag Team Champion Omos was last seen in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the April 5 episode of WWE SmackDown in 2024.

More recently, the WWE star completed a tour of Pro Wrestling NOAH in 2025, going on to become the GHC Tag Team Champion alongside Jack Morris.

Having signed a new contract with WWE recently, Omos has previously stated that he was “really excited about what is to come”.

Part of those future plans appeared to involve plans for Omos to head over to Mexico for AAA.

According to Dave Meltzer however, the plans have been discussed but are yet to be set in stone.

Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer stated:

Regarding Omos in AAA, according to those in WWE creative the idea of him coming here has been talked about but is not definite and at this point no dates have been scheduled.

WWE acquired AAA earlier this year, with the official announcement being made during the WrestleMania 41 Countdown show.

Omos initially signed with WWE in January 2019 and would make his television debut in June of the following year, going on to be Raw Tag Team Champion with AJ Styles.
