A WWE name has shared their thoughts on an upcoming match, set to take place at NXT Vengeance Day this Saturday.
Robert Stone has served as the interim NXT general manager since February, with Vengeance Day set to be his first Premium Live Event in this role.
Speaking on Busted Open, Stone was asked by Bully Ray if there’s a match he has ‘a little bit more interest in’ on the card.
Excited about the NXT Underground match, Stone said:
“I think Lola Vice vs Kelani Jordan, the Underground (match).
“It almost gives me goosebumps or chills cos it’s so like expect the unexpected, anything could happen.
“No ropes. No ring posts. You can only win by submission or knockout.
“That’s just always an exciting match to watch, and Lola is undefeated; she’s 3-0 in it. She’s beaten Shayna Baszler, Nattie Neidhart, and Jaida Parker.
“So, she’s 3-0. Can she go to 4-0? Will she lose this? So, there’s a lot on the line in this match.”

Bully Ray would comment that a win over Nattie “is a big deal” with Stone calling it “huge”, and the WWE Hall of Famer also noted that it was an achievement to defeat Baszler.
Initially introduced back in 2020, WWE’s Underground matches would take place with no ropes on a black canvas, with NXT adopting the stipulation in June 2023.
Lola Vice competed in all three NXT Underground matches that took place in 2024, with her victory over Parker featuring at Deadline in December of that year.
During the interview with Bully Ray, the WWE Hall of Famer pitched for Stone to become the official NXT general manager.
