A TNA Wrestling star will defend their championship in an open challenge on next week’s edition of NXT on the USA Network.
With SmackDown moving to the USA Network on September 13, Raw, NXT and SmackDown will all air via USA next week.
It has now been confirmed that TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace will defend her title in an open challenge on the September 10 NXT episode.
Grace took to Twitter to share a video, in which she said she had spoken with NXT General Manager Ava and agreed to put her title on the line on next Tuesday’s edition of NXT.
The official WWE NXT Twitter account shared this video, replying:
Looking forward to it, @JordynneGrace! 👊
WWE has shared Grace’s video on several platforms, and showed it during this week’s NXT show.
You can watch the video below.
Grace has been the figurehead of the WWE-TNA partnership, with the star notably appearing in January’s Royal Rumble match.
She has wrestled a number of NXT stars since then in both TNA and WWE rings, and notably challenged for Roxanne Perez’ NXT Women’s Championship at June’s NXT Battleground premium live event.
