WWE star Liv Morgan

WWE star Liv Morgan has explained why she prefers being a heel instead of a babyface, and why she feels like it’s easier as a heel.

Morgan has largely been a heel for the past few years on WWE TV as a member of Judgment Day and the partner of Dominik Mysterio.

Speaking in a new interview with Esteban Ramirez, she explains why she prefers that role, saying:

“I like being a bad girl (laughs). I feel like you knew that. I think being a bad girl is just so fun, easy and freeing.

“When you are a good guy, you’re valiant and the people have to like you. They have to respect you, they have to want to root for you, and sometimes that can be very difficult and that can be hard.

“Being a bad guy, it doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter if you mess up, it doesn’t matter if they love or hate you. Obviously you want to get them to hate you, but that reaction isn’t as important as when you are a good guy and you’re supposed to be getting cheered.

“So I love being a bad girl, I love the freedom that gives me, I feel very comfortable, I feel very in my wheelhouse. I would stay terrible forever.”

Liv Morgan Turning Babyface In The Future

We’ve seen with so many names over the years in WWE, most notably Roman Reigns recently, who turned heel for a major run, and the heel run is actually what led to him becoming a bigger babyface than he’d ever been before.

Liv Morgan, along with Dominik Mysterio if they remain a partnership, are likely on a similar trajectory, and there are already signs that many crowds get behind them just for their entertainment value, despite them being heels.

The likelihood is that Morgan will have another run as a top babyface in the WWE women’s division, and that time probably isn’t too far away.
