WWE Name ‘Blown Away’ By Recent Show

A WWE Hall of Famer has revealed they were ‘blown away’ by a recent show, having served on the commentary team.

Joining Corey Graves and Konnan on the English language commentary team at AAA Guerra de Titanes, JBL has commented on the success of the show.

Following a report that there were those behind the scenes who felt the AAA event was the best WWE show of the year, JBL shared his thoughts on the sentiment in a tweet reading:

“I was blown away how good it was.”

AAA Guerra de Titanes continued the tradition of WWE stars appearing in Mexico following the acquisition earlier this year.

Ethan Page was among those in action, facing El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. for the AAA Latin American Championship, only to see the NXT star’s victory reversed by referee decision.

Rey Mysterio teamed with Rey Fenix to take on El Grande Americano and Dominik Mysterio, with the Judgment Day member reportedly suffering an injury during the match.

JBL reappeared on WWE programming at AAA TripleMania 22 in August and Worlds Collide the following month, going on to state that he isn’t a contracted performer.
