Mark Henry has named D’Lo Brown as a former star that he feels should be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
A four-time Intercontinental Champion and former European Champion, D’Lo Brown would be released by WWE for the first time in February 2003, returning in 2008, with that run seeing a release in January of the following year.
Currently a producer in TNA Wrestling, D’Lo deserves a WWE Hall of Fame induction, according to Mark Henry, who explained why during an interview with Justin Stuckey, saying:
“D’Lo Brown should be in. He taught me a lot of the stuff I know. The Nation of Domination as a group should be in.
“Everybody that was in the Nation went on to do great things and make a lot of money. Multiple world champions, Intercontinental, European, Hardcore, we did everything.”

D’Lo Brown previously stated that he only wants to be inducted into the Hall of Fame if Droz – real name Darren Drozdov – also receives an induction, with Droz previously suffering a career ending injury in a Sunday Night Heat dark match against D’Lo Brown in October 1999.
Introduced in November 1996, the Nation of Domination would consist of Faarooq, Clarence Mason, J. C. Ice and Wolfie D, with Crush joining the following month.
January 1997 would see D’Lo Brown added to the faction, along with Savio Vega, with Kama Mustafa becoming The Godfather and Rocky Maivia evolving into The Rock in a time that also saw Ahmed Johnson join. During that year, Mason, Ice, Crush and Wolfie D and Johnson would all leave.
Mark Henry would be the first to join in 1998, with Owen Hart rounding out the faction later that year, with the Nation of Domination finally disbanding in November of that year with Brown and Henry continuing as a team.
With such a broad base of wrestling talent, Mark Henry has previously stated that D’Lo Brown was better than the everyone else in the Nation.
Success Came Outside Of The Nation Of Domination
During its existence, only two titles were held by members of the Nation of Domination. The Rock held the WWF Intercontinental Championship, while D’Lo Brown was European Champion.
It’s beyond the borders of the Nation that true success was found, with Rocky Maivia being reborn as The Rock and going on to a legendary career in and beyond WWE being possibly the greatest example of its success.
Of its membership, Farooq, The Godfather, and Mark Henry are the only ones to have been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, with Johnson no doubt a shoe-in for a future induction.
There have been a number of former stars who have seen inductions in their own right and as members of the respective factions, with Ric Flair and Triple H among that number for the Four Horsemen and DX, respectively. It isn’t an impossibility that the Nation of Domination could be inducted as a group and as individuals.
In the meantime, Mark Henry is signed to a WWE legends contract and has recently revealed that many of the stars he has helped are, in their own right, Hall of Fame worthy, noting that the names have made more money than he ever did in his career.
