The number one angle of the fall so far in WWE has been the war between The Bloodline and The 946 faction.
Less than a year into his WWE career, Royce Keys has now established himself as a top heel main event star on Raw, and the group is also doing an excellent job in establishing its other younger members: Bronco Nima, Lucien Price, Jaida Parker and, most recently, Carmelo Hayes.
With WarGames around the corner, and the group presumably needing a fifth male member of their team for that match, we could see another new face join up in the coming weeks.
With Roman Reigns taking on Sami Zayn in this year’s Men’s Crown Jewel Championship match on November 7, that would be a perfect opportunity for the final new member of 946 to reveal themselves.
Here are three potential new additions to The 946 we could see at Crown Jewel:
Jacob Fatu
Ever since The 946 first emerged in WWE, questions have been asked regarding Jacob Fatu’s potential allegiance to the group.
Fatu has the history with Keys pre-dating WWE, he is also from Northern California and overall just fits in with The 946 more aesthetically than he does in The Bloodline.
Of course, “The Samoan Werewolf” would have to be very forgiving if he was to join 946 after being run over in a car by Jaida Parker last month, but pro wrestling hasn’t always abided by logic when it comes to these types of things.
Fatu could make his return at Crown Jewel, perhaps in an attempt to fend off some 946 interference during the main event, only to turn around and attack Roman Reigns – costing him the win over Zayn and setting himself up as the group’s final member for WarGames.
Cruz Montana
With 946 already bringing us the main roster debuts of OTM and Jaida Parker, WWE could go for the same approach again with their fifth and final male member: Cruz Montana.
When looking at the WWE roster, there are few stars that would fit in with 946 more than the former TNA World Champion. In the group’s latest vignette, Royce Keys said 946 “isn’t where we’re from, it’s who we are”, explaining how the group is comprised of members from all over the United States, not just that particular area code in Oakland, California.
Montana is about as New York City as it gets, but he has been open about growing up on the streets and experiencing hardship growing up, much like 946’s leader Royce Keys.
While he’s only just finding his feet in WWE NXT, Montana’s call-up shouldn’t be delayed when the perfect opportunity to establish him on the main roster is right there in WWE’s lap.
LA Knight
Now, LA Knight is certainly not a natural fit for 946, but from a storyline perspective, he is perhaps the most interesting new addition to the group.
Knight’s mission to finally topple Roman Reigns and The Bloodline fell short at WWE Money in the Bank, leaving “The Megastar” without any direction to head into on Raw.
Rather than simply lying down and accepting his loss to Reigns, Knight should use that as motivation to make a major change to his character. While he is still massively over with the fans, it feels like a heel turn is a logical next step for his character, especially when he sees his friend Solo Sikoa go back on his word and embrace The Bloodline once again.
Even if it’s just a temporary alliance for WarGames, LA Knight could very well side with 946 as soon as Crown Jewel on November 7.
