WWE Hall of Famer John Layfield (JBL) has broken his silence following his appearance at TNA Bound For Glory 2024.

There were a lot of eyes on Saturday night’s (October 26) TNA World Championship match, with popular star Joe Hendry challenging for Nic Nemeth’s gold.

During the match, special referee Frankie Kazarian attempted to cash-in his Call Your Shot title match, but was stopped by Layfield, who laid him out with a Clothesline from Hell.

Layfield went on to drop Hendry and Ryan Nemeth with clotheslines before leaving, ahead of Nic Nemeth retaining his title.

John Layfield has now taken to Twitter to address his interference, with the man also known as JBL first writing:

“I am the Keeper, guardian of professional wrestling.”

Summarising his actions, Layfield then tweeted:

“Arrive. Clothesline someone. Leave.”

Layfield has made surprise appearances for several promotions in recent weeks, including TNA, AAA, GCW and MLW.

He interacted with TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth during his previous AAA and TNA appearances, notably accompanying Nemeth to the ring at Triplemanía XXXII: Mexico City in August.
