Danhausen named Matt Cardona as the WWE star he believes has a curse, and that he should be ‘cursed back into Zack Ryder’.
Since his arrival in WWE back at the Elimination Chamber, Danhausen’s curses have been the talk of the wrestling world, with him cursing names such as Dominik Mysterio, The Miz and Kit Wilson, as well as cursing and uncursing the New York Knicks.
With the Knicks’ victory coming after Danhausen’s uncursing, the belief in his curses has reached an all time high, leading to many wondering who or what may be next.
Danhausen Believes Matt Cardona Is Cursed
Speaking to Adam’s Apple, Danhausen was asked if he believes there are any WWE stars that are cursed.
Danhausen named Matt Cardona, saying that he ‘needs to be cursed back into Zack Ryder’.
He said:
“Matt Cardona for sure. He’s being pummeled every week. He needs to be cursed back into Zack Ryder I think.
“I think if he just put a headband on and some sunglasses and said Woo Woo Woo You Know It, the curse would go away”

Will WWE End Up Overexposing Danhausen?
Since his arrival in WWE at the Elimination Chamber, Danhausen has become one of the most popular stars in the entire company, as well as one of the company’s highest merchandise sellers.
Danhausen has sparingly been used in an in-ring capacity since his arrival, and has largely been kept to backstage segments or segments in front of the live crowd during commercial breaks on Raw and SmackDown.
With his new found success as part of the New York Knicks’ NBA Championship glory, WWE may want to capitalise on Danhausen’s popularity and feature him more prominently on the show.
This will ultimately end up leading to the question; how much Danhausen is too much Danhausen?
Danhausen’s character has been booked almost perfectly since his arrival, and booking him too much may end up overexposing him to the audience, and ultimately lead to his character no longer being as beloved as it is right now.
However, WWE has a momentum wave with Danhausen right now, and the merchandise sales to back it up, so it is refreshing to see WWE capitalise on his popularity so soon, rather than waiting months.
