A WWE star has reacted to a Hall of Famer saying that their happy-go-lucky persona could be a reason why they are underestimated.
With Kelani Jordan in her fourth year on NXT, a Hall of Famer Bully Ray has called for the star to lose her smile to be taken more seriously.
During her interview with Busted Open, Kelani Jordan was told by Bully Ray that he believes that a reason why people underestimate her is because she’s always smiling.
After the Hall of Famer told her that she’s too happy-go-lucky, and that she needs to lose her smile, Kelani Jordan stated that she believes her work speaks for itself.
In response to Bully Ray, Jordan said:
“Sure, you can say that, but I feel like, smile or no smile, my work has proven when I talk, when I perform, who I wrestle…
“It doesn’t matter what stage, being in the Rumble, being at a live event, no matter what, I always go all in.”

With Jordan making her in-ring debut in October 2022, there has been some speculation about the former Women’s North American Champion being moved to the main roster.
It would make sense for Jordan to join SmackDown, with her partner, WWE US Champion Carmelo Hayes, already wrestling for the blue brand.
Elsewhere in the interview, Kelani Jordan addressed the possibility of a WWE main roster call-up, noting that she’s ready for a Raw or SmackDown move.
