A WWE General Manager has addressed a slew of championship changes that took place on a recent television episode.
This week’s episode of WWE NXT saw three championship changes, and interim GM Robert Stone addressed them all.
The February 25 episode saw the NXT Tag Team Championship change hands, with Vanity Project defeating DarkState
Elio LaFleur also became WWE Speed Champion, and Myles Borne became the North American Champion, beating Ethan Page.
Robert Stone has now addressed all three championship changes under his watch, sharing his thoughts on Twitter, posting:
“A message to the new NXT champions: When you win gold you don’t just get a fist bump… You get a pound of Stone.
“Vanity Project — The party isn’t just starting… it’s officially dripping in gold.
“Elio LeFleur — Keep carrying that pride. Keep making France proud. The world is watching now.
“@mylesborne_wwe — The edge you’ve shown these past few weeks? That’s the difference. Now carry that fire… and make that title proud.”
The post was accompanied by photos of Stone fistbumping each champion, along with their newly won NXT titles.
The championships mark the first time each star has held a WWE championship, with Vanity Project also being officially added to the roster.
It was recently reported that NXT Stand & Deliver would be taking place earlier in April, separating it from WWE WrestleMania 42 weekend.
