WWE NXT’s Blake Monroe has addressed a potential match with The Bella Twins after sharing her thoughts on the Hall of Famers.
Blake Monroe has recently shared her respect of the Bella Twins in a recent interview, saying, “so many women wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for them”
With that moment being shared on Twitter, The Bella Twins would respond to the show of praise by tweeting:
“Aww, thank you @BlakeMonroeWWE, this means more to us than you will ever know!! ❤️🔥🙏🏼✨🐦🔥🫶🏼 #BellaArmy4Life
“PS, we still gotta have that dream match 💋”
Monroe is very much up for that dream match, although it may not take the form seen in a recent WWE 2K26 video, in which the NXT star was deposited into a dumpster by Nikki Bella, who would share the footage suggesting it should be made a reality.
Reposting the praise from The Bella Twins, Monroe would warn about the dangers of dreams coming true, stating:
“Ready when you are… dreams can so easily turn into nightmares though 🫦”
The Bella Twins reunited in WWE, with Brie making her return recently, and the pair targeting the Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Bringing The Glamor To WWE
Known as Mariah May in AEW, Blake Monroe made her WWE debut in June of last year on NXT and has recently talked about not joining the main roster upon signing.
A former AEW Women’s World Champion, her time in WWE has seen her become NXT Women’s North American Champion, with a quest for further title reigns seemingly in her future.
Her time in WWE hasn’t been without issue, with a title change happening through a botch on NXT that saw Thea Hail take the aforementioned Women’s North American Championship.
While it’s clear that Monroe has value to WWE beyond her current standing, the former champion has made it clear that, even with WrestleMania 42 looming, she is focused on building her ‘stock’ through NXT before the inevitable call-up to the main roster happens.
Monroe isn’t a stranger to the long game, either, having finished her time in AEW with a program against Toni Storm that ran from late 2023 until their “Hollywood Ending” match at Revolution in March of last year.
That Falls Count Anywhere match would be described as the “perfect ending” to the feud by the former AEW star, noting the investment that fans had in the story.
