A WWE star has shown off the injury that they sustained after an ‘unprovoked attack’ on the July 28 episode of Raw.
The recent episode of WWE Raw saw Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria come face to face ahead of their match at SummerSlam.
Valkyria would declare that Lynch will have to beat the life out of her to prevent her from becoming the new Women’s Intercontinental Champion on Sunday.
As can be seen below this news story, Lynch would then attempt to make that happen early, bringing out a kendo stick with which to do the beating.
Unfortunately for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Valkyria would take possession of the kendo stick, laying into Becky Lynch.
Lynch has now shared a photo on Instagram taken backstage after the incident, showing the damage she sustained and sharing a message to her followers, stating:
“Totally unprovoked attack! LYRA HAS TOTALLY LOST IT.
“We cannot have this CRAZY BIRDLADY representing the intercontinental title! AND SHE WONT!”
AEW’s MJF recently shared his support of Becky Lynch, declaring that Valkyria was “probably a bad person“.
Lynch and MJF both have roles in the recently released Netflix movie, Happy Gilmore 2.
