A recently released WWE star was backstage at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view event, which emanated from Los Angeles.
The March 9 pay-per-view saw AEW take over the Crypto.com arena for a big night of action.
Reports have now indicated that an ex-WWE star was in the building, following their recent departure from the company.
Per Lucha Libre Online, Elektra Lopez was backstage at AEW Revolution.
Noting that several companies have high interest in signing Lopez, Lucha Libre Online shared the following on Twitter:
EXCLUSIVE: Elektra Lopez is backstage right now at AEW Revolution. She was recently backstage at TNA. Several companies have a high interest in signing the Puerto Rican 🇵🇷🔥
(Translated from Spanish)
This comes after reports that Lopez was backstage at the February 21 TNA Wrestling TV taping, and that TNA Wrestling is showing ‘very high interest‘ in signing Elektra Lopez.
The latter report indicated that as of late-February, Lopez was leaning towards joining TNA after her non-compete clause expires.
Elektra Lopez was one of several talents let go by WWE during the February 2025 round of cuts.
Following previous appearances for WWE in 2018 and 2019, Lopez signed with the company in 2021, making her official NXT debut that June.
