A teaser for the upcoming WWE 2K26 has teased a popular AAA star, among other names, as appearing in the video game.
With the latest entry in the long-running franchise available for pre-order later this month, a potential release date was revealed by a WWE Hall of Famer.
Already confirmed for the upcoming release are the Monday Night Wars Edition and Attitude Era Edition of the game.
Now, a new tease has been released on the official WWE 2K Games Twitter account, bearing the caption:
“Time’s marked. Instincts kick in
“Some memories don’t fade, they wait. 📼 #WWE2K26”
The Tweet includes a link to the tease website, which provides more insight into what the clues may represent.
The clues are described as “Reveal 1” with the title for the tease website being “WWE 2k26 Daily Clues are LIVE!”
From the final moment of tease, the Calendar features the clue:
“Circles drawn. Lines crossed. You will have to choose.”
The photo of the pet iguana features the caption:
“Sangre fría. Movimientos calientes.”
This translates to English as “Cold blood. Hot movement” and could suggest a Mr. Iguana appearance.
Fur boots and two-toned wig get a cryptic tease of:
“It was never just a phase.”
The pile of VHS tapes on the side of the tease graphic gets the clue:
“Anyone need a paperweight?”
The shopping cart suggests something rather dangerous with the clue:
“Not OSHA approved.”
Finally, the microphone with the WWE scratch logo has a clue that reads:
“Say it louder for the people in the back.”
For those curious about the VHS tapes, the ‘handwritten’ wording on each ones reads:
Clash @ The Castle
Punk vs Rollins vs Roman (WM41)
Cena vs Ortan (sic) (Breaking Point)
Wrestlepalooza
Night of Champions
CM Punk was recently reported as the focus of the returning Showcase mode in WWE 2k26.
