An upcoming WWE match that was previously advertised as a championship match has seemingly been changed to non-title.

On last week’s WWE SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton scored the win over Kiana James after some ringside issues with Chelsea Green and Giulia.

With Tiffany’s victory she took aim at Giulia and the Women’s United States Championship, challenging her to a match for the title next week on SmackDown.

Tiffany Stratton & Giulia’s WWE SmackDown Clash Changed

The match had been made official for the show, with it being advertised as a Women’s United States Championship match between the two.

However, in the preview for tomorrow night’s SmackDown, WWE is no longer advertising the match as a title match, calling it a ‘non-title showdown’.

Will SmackDown be Tiffy’s Time, or is it time for Giulia to reaffirm her dominance?

Women’s United States Champion Giulia is set to clash with former WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton in an explosive non-title showdown on The Road to WrestleMania.

What Should Be The Women’s United States Championship Match At WrestleMania 42?

While there has been no official announcement of a Women’s United States Championship match taking place at WrestleMania 42, there are a number of women currently circling the title.

There had been reports that WWE was planning a title match between Giulia and Tiffany Stratton for the title at WrestleMania, but with the match now taking place on SmackDown, we could see some other women added to the match.

Kiana James herself is coming off a recent series of big victories, including qualifying for the Elimination Chamber match by pinning Charlotte Flair and a strong showing in the Royal Rumble, with seeds of descension planted between herself and Giulia.

There is also Chelsea Green, who has already held the title twice, and has been in the orbit of Tiffany Stratton and Giulia in recent weeks, though she is currently injured.

Despite all the options, WrestleMania throughout it’s history has primarily been built around big time singles matches, so the most fitting option would be to have Giulia and Tiffany Stratton face off in a singles clash for the title, which would be the first time in it’s history the title will have been defended on a premium live event.
