A WWE star has called out Tyler Breeze following his TV return, ahead of their match against one another.
The former NXT Tag Team Champion made an appearance on the September 9 NXT episode, taking a selfie with an unconscious Ethan Page.
Page – who had just lost a Flag Match against Tavion Heights before Breeze’s appearance – has now taken to Twitter to comment on the return.
Commenting on Breeze’s timing, Page shared a photo of the returning star taking the selfie, with the caption:
This insecure prick waits till I look my absolute worst to come take a selfie with me?
Ethan Page is now slated to defend the NXT North American Championship against Breeze at the September 16 NXT Homecoming TV special episode, which will emanate from Full Sail University.
This will be Breeze’s first WWE match since the June 15, 2021 NXT show, with Tyler Breeze and Fandango defeating Fabian Aichner and Ludwig Kaiser (Marcel Barthel) ten days before the former team were released from their contracts.
Breeze maintained a role within the company, reportedly under contract for his work on the UpUpDownDown gaming YouTube channel, and also becoming a writer for NXT.
