Triple H Reacts To Motor City Machine Guns WWE Tag Team Championship Win

Triple H has reacted to the Motor City Machine Guns’ WWE Tag Team Championship win on SmackDown.

Last night’s SmackDown in Brooklyn, NY saw Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin finally capture their very first WWE Tag Team Championships, well over 20 years after they made their pro wrestling debuts.

In what was a chaotic close to the show at the Barclays Center, the Motor City Machine Guns challenged The Bloodline’s Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa for their titles, just minutes after becoming number one contenders via a win over DIY.

In a match defined by outside interference from Jimmy Uso, Roman Reigns and Jey Uso, Shelley and Sabin captured their prizes in what was only their third WWE bout.

After the match they were greeted by WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, who posted a photo with the new champions on Twitter, along with the following message of congratulations:

On one hand… a long time coming. On the other hand… three matches in @WWE, and they’re already champions.

Congratulations to the Motor City Machine Guns @AlexShelley313 & @SuperChrisSabin.

After Sabin and Shelley’s win they would be interviewed by Byron Saxton, shared their reaction to their huge WWE title win – with full details available here.
