After having met Stevie Turner last week in Ava’s office and suggesting the match, Jordynne Grace’s power was on full display in the opening bout between the two tonight.

In the end, Grace would pick up a dominant victory via pinfall after hitting her finishing move, the Juggernaut Driver.

This was Grace’s first ever one-on-one match in WWE, having previously been in the Royal Rumble match earlier this year.

With NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez on commentary for the match, she ended up getting into the ring afterwards as she and Grace had a face-to-face stare down again.

When their face-off turned physical, Perez shoved Grace who then shoved her back harder, knocking her down – but before Grace could do any further damage, Perez was able to escape the ring.

Perez puts her WWE NXT Women’s Championship on the line on Sunday, June 9 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas against TNA Wrestling Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace after the surprise announcement on last week’s show.

Elsewhere on tonight’s show ahead of the premium live event, a ‘summit’ between the entrants in the upcoming ladder match to determine the first ever Women’s North American Champion.
