Tonight’s WWE NXT featured the much anticipated TNA Wrestling invasion during the winner takes all champion vs champion main event.
Throughout the entirety of NXT, a number of TNA stars were shown arriving in the background of other segments, including Eric Young, Moose, Matt Cardona, Steph De Lander, Mance Warner, Victoria Crawford, Lei Ying Lee, Xia Brookside, Zachary Wentz, Cedric Alexander, Jess McKay, Cassie Lee, Steve Maclin, Heather By Elegance, Frankie Kazarian and most prominently Mike Santana.
When it was time for the main event between NXT Champion Oba Femi and TNA World Champion Trick Williams, the TNA talents had converged in the crowd, with Santana on commentary.
As the match progressed, Femi and Williams spilled to the outside, at which point Williams and Santana got in each other’s faces, and Williams slapped Santana.
This prompted Santana to fight back and then the rest of the TNA roster jumped over to ringside and into the ring.
Multiple NXT stars then ran out from backstage to join the brawl, including Hank Walker, Tank Ledger, Jasper Troy, Sol Ruca, Kelani Jordan, Izzi Dame, Tatum Paxley, Jaida Parker, Shawn Spears, Niko Vance, Myles Borne and Je’Von Evans.
While all the chaos was happening, Ricky Saints casually strolled out ignoring it all to get a good look at the NXT Championship, which he will challenge Oba Femi for at No Mercy this coming Saturday.
The brawl had no conclusion as the show went off the air in the midst of it.
If you were wondering where Joe Hendry‘s allegiances may lie, he appeared earlier in the show, teaming with Chase U against DarkState, but was not part of the invasion segment.
