A TNA Wrestling star has reportedly signed a contract extension with the company ahead of the upcoming debut on AMC.
TNA IMPACT is set to make it’s debut on the AMC Network on Thursday, with the first episode of ‘Thursday Night IMPACT’ airing on January 15.
Ahead of the debut, a number of TNA contracts have come up for renewal, with various names no longer under contract with the company, including Killer Kelly, the Rascalz and Jake Something, the latter signing with AEW.
However, various other TNA names have re-signed with the company, including the Hardys and Cedric Alexander.
Today, PWInsider has noted that the word making the rounds is that inaugural TNA International Champion and former TNA World Champion Steve Maclin has come to terms with the company on what is described as an ‘extension’ on his existing deal.
The length of the extension is not yet known, though Maclin is currently taking independent bookings through April.
Maclin lost the TNA International Championship to WWE NXT’s Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo at the Final Resolution pay-per-view event on December 5.
