A TNA Wrestling star is set to challenge for an AEW championship tonight in a newly launched promotion’s second event.
Former TNA President Scott D’Amore’s new relaunch of Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling took place last night, and the show has received a lot of positive feedback from viewers.
The main event of the show saw an appearance from AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita, who defended the title against TNA star Mike Bailey in the main event.
However, Bailey isn’t set to be the only current TNA star set to challenge for Takeshita’s title, as he was confronted by former TNA World Champion Josh Alexander after the show, setting up their match for tonight’s second night of Forged In Excellence.
