The TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view took place on July 20 and has gone on to set an all-time company record.
Not only did Leon Slater set a record by becoming the youngest X Division champion in history, but TNA Wrestling itself set a record for attendance.
Taking place at the UBS Arena in Elmost, New York, the attendance of 7,623 set an all-time company record, according to a press release that states:
The 2025 Slammiversary live event – held Sunday, July 20, at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York – was record-breaking for TNA Wrestling, as the crowd of 7,623 was the most-ever at a TNA show in North America in the company’s 23-year history.
The new TNA attendance record surpasses the former record, set in 2013.
TNA announcer Tom Hannifan made the record-setting announcement during the live broadcast of Slammiversary.
“This company has worked tirelessly since last December when it was announced that Slammiversary would be held at the UBS Arena,” said TNA Wrestling President Carlos Silva. “To see a record-setting crowd at the UBS Arena was a milestone moment for TNA Wrestling that no one will ever forget.”
TNA Slammiversary also saw the Knockouts World Championship change hands, with NXT’s Jacy Jayne going on to become a double champion.
Jayne wasn’t the only NXT star to leave with a title as Trick Williams retained the TNA World Championship against Joe Hendry and Mike Santana.
WWE star AJ Styles also made his much-anticipated TNA Wrestling return, endorsing Leon Slater following his X Division victory over Moose.
