SmackDown star Chelsea Green says the first thing she does when a WWE star is released, is send them contact information of AEW, TNA and other promotions.

Having previously been released by WWE in 2020, only to return three years later, Chelsea Green is unfortunately someone all too familiar with being let go by the company.

However, as Green proved, both before the beginning of her first run in WWE and in between her 2020 release and re-signing in 2023, being let go by the company doesn’t have to be the end of the road, with plenty of other promotions and companies for talent to work for and achieve great success.

Speaking with Denise Salcedo, Green revealed that she points talent in the direction of other places to work after being released by WWE:

“Whenever anyone gets released, the first thing I do is I message them.

“I’m sure everyone hates me for this, but the girls love me for it, I give them the names of the AEW people that I know that they can contact and the TNA people that they can contact and then anyone else, that ‘I think you can work here, here or here.’”

Since returning to WWE in 2023, Green has become a WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, two-time Women’s United States Champion and currently holds the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships with Ethan Page.

While she is currently one of SmackDown’s most popular stars, Green recently said her path to that point was “so hard” and she was “told no so many times” throughout her journey.
