Rey Mysterio has issued his first response to Dominik Mysterio winning the AAA Mega Championship at WWE Worlds Collide last night.
The win makes Dominik a double champion, as he has also held the WWE Intercontinental Title since WrestleMania.
During Dominik’s match against El Hijo Del Vikingo last night, Rey Mysterio came out to help Vikingo and even the odds after Judgment Day came out to assist Dominik.
However, thanks to El Grande Americano, Dominik got the win, and staying true to his word from earlier in the week, Rey personally put the AAA Mega Championship belt around Dominik’s waist in the middle of the ring.
That doesn’t mean he’s happy with Dominik, and he’s now reminded his son that he isn’t the first Mysterio to be a double champion.
Rey posted a photo of himself as a double champion many years ago, along with the caption:
Never say you the greatest until they say you R……
Never say you the first cuz you Weren’t!! Facts Son
Love,
Your Dead Beat Dad
Rey Mysterio has been out of action since just before WrestleMania, but is reportedly getting close to returning.
