Rey Fenix has called for a singles match against a fellow star, having been spurred on by his WWE SmackDown experience on May 16.
The recent episode of WWE SmackDown saw Rey Fenix vs. Jimmy Uso vs. Solo Sikoa as all three attempted to qualify for Money in the Bank.
Sikoa would be the first name to be added to the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match for the June 7 WWE Premium Live Event.
Reflecting on the match, Rey Fenix revealed he wants to face Jimmy Uso in a singles match, tweeting:
“Todo va bien!
“Everything takes time, and my time is coming.
“Another incredible Friday of #smackdown🔵
“Just I think now I have to face Jimmy Uso in ONE a ONE match!”
Fenix would tag both WWE and Jimmy Uso in his tweet, along with sharing photos fo the pair from the match itself, as can be seen below this news story.
With Penta currently featuring on WWE Raw, it was previously reported that there is a plan for the Lucha Brothers to reunite at some point in the future.
A source “associated with the creative” told Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful that they thought both Penta and Fenix were capable of generating buzz as singles stars, making it a big moment whenever they do reunite.
