An update has emerged regarding a relative of Rey and Dominik Mysterio potentially being involved with WWE.
Since WWE acquired AAA this past April, Dominik Mysterio has been presented as a face of the promotion and is the current AAA Mega Champion.
Despite being injured since the deal was announced until just a couple of weeks ago, Rey Mysterio has made a number of AAA appearances as well.
Now, another member of their family is getting involved.
Hijo de Rey Misterio is set for tonight’s AAA show taking place in Hermosillo, Sonora. He was also in action for AAA on November 1, where he teamed with Bestia 666 and Halloween Jr to defeat Belcegor, Histeria and Taurus.
Hijo de Rey Misterio is the son of the original Rey Misterio, which makes him the cousin of WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, who is the original Rey Misterio’s nephew.
Neither Dominik nor Rey Mysterio are set to be part of the AAA show tonight after WWE Survivor Series took place in San Diego last night, with Dominik winning the Intercontinental Championship back from John Cena thanks to the returning Liv Morgan.
However, there are some recognizable names on the AAA show that have appeared on some of the bigger shows since the WWE acquisition, including Mr Iguana, La Parka, Psycho Clown, Pagano, Nino Hamburguesa, El Mesias, Octagon Jr, Flamer, La Hiedra and Faby Apache.
