An update has emerged on TNA Wrestling’s potential new media rights deal, revealing that the company are “open” to moving nights to go head-to-head with AEW.

With TNA President Carlos Silva last month publicly discussing his hopes for a new TV deal in the range of $10 million per year and rumors of The CW and A&E potentially interested, a new report has shared new details regarding TNA’s potential future home.

According to Jon Alba from The TakeDown on Sports Illustrated, multiple independent sources have stated that there have been discussions of TNA moving to a WWE associated network, with the company also said to be “open” to moving from Thursday to Wednesday nights – going head-to-head with AEW Dynamite.

While it was not “directly indicated” that TNA would be heading to The CW, The TakeDown on SI were told that The CW’s interest in them is “legitimate”, with some WWE stakeholders keen on TNA heading to the network – which is the current home of NXT.

However, no deal has been signed as of yet, with no indication regarding how far along discussions are at this time.

When asked about the media rights situation on Wednesday, Silva said that more meetings would be held later this month and that no deals had been completed as of yet, however, he did not deny the rumor of conversations for TNA to run against AEW.
