A potential future WWE signing has responded to the rumors that he could be on his way to the company shortly.
Despite him making numerous high-profile appearances for AEW over the past few years, Jeff Cobb is reportedly on his way to WWE.
Amid the rumors that this is the case, Cobb has continued to work in Japan for NJPW, but he seems to be well aware of the speculation surrounding his future.
Today, Cobb took to social media, posting the following:
I know I’ve been Radio silent about the current situation, and I can’t say everything about it, but I can say a little bit, so here it goes……..
Yes it is 100% true, Shota is still a cosplay loser and I’m on my way to NJ Cup finals to put a whooping on LIJ. Watch LIVE on http://NJPWWorld.com #JeffCobb #NJCup #NJPW
This isn’t the first time Cobb has playfully referenced the WWE rumors while in turn using it to promote his matches in NJPW.
We’ll keep you posted with any further updates on his status as they emerge.
