Two big matches have been added to tonight’s AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts special, as announced by Tony Khan on Twitter.
Firstly, Orange Cassidy will be in action after his excellent match with Will Ospreay at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door this past weekend. Cassidy will take on Ethan Page of American Top Team (ATT), which according to Tony Khan was a match requested by ATT.
The other match added to the card is a TBS title match, with Champion Jade Cargill facing Leila Grey. For those unaware of Leila Grey, she has made a number of appearances on AEW Dark and Rampage over the past year, and even appeared on an episode of SmackDown in April, losing to Raquel Rodriguez in a squash match.
According to Tony Khan’s tweet announcing the match, he sent out an email asking for an opponent for Cargill, and Leila Grey was the first to respond. It genuinely seems like something Tony Khan would do, so I honestly believe him.
Below are the match announcements.

She was the first licensed wrestler to respond to my email, so clearly AOL still functions. Admittedly these aren’t peak email traffic hours, but their servers are clearly still working.
