A pair of new WWE signings have been spotted ahead of their anticipated debut at tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown.
Since entering free agency in April the future of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin has been the subject of much speculation.
While the team were reported to be close to signing with AEW shortly after their TNA Wrestling departure, no move materialised, paving the way for WWE to reportedly sign both to contracts in September.
Following several weeks of vignettes teasing their TV debut, we now have potential confirmation that the Motor City Machine Guns will be debuting on tonight’s SmackDown (October 18).
According to PWInsider, Shelley and Sabin were spotted at Charlotte airport last night (October 17), just hours away from the location for tonight’s episode of SmackDown: Columbia, SC.
Shelley and Sabin are expected to be revealed as the mystery opponents of Los Garza (Berto & Angel) on tonight’s show, a match set up by Nick Aldis on last week’s SmackDown.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on the Motor City Machine Guns and all other SmackDown news as/when it becomes available.
