A new WWE signing has seemingly been revealed via the release of new merchandise on the company’s online shop.

Known as the smallest wrestler in the history of the sport at 3ft tall, 26-year-old luchador Microman has become one of Mexico’s most popular stars – appearing for the likes of CMLL, MLW and GCW since making his in-ring debut in 2017.

While the Mexico City native has been competing as a free agent since his CMLL departure in 2021, his status may now have changed, as a new Microman shirt has appeared for sale on WWE Shop describing him as a “AAA Superstar”.

The shirt description reads:

“Show that you stand strong with one of Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide’s most eccentric competitors by making this Microman AAA Superstar T-Shirt part of your gear collection.

“Featuring stylized Microman graphics printed across the chest, this comfy tee is a must-have for those who can’t get enough of their unique, hard-hitting style.

“The tee’s cotton design makes it a strong choice before heading to the next premium live event and show the whole world who you’re all about.”

There’s not yet been any official announcement from WWE or AAA regarding the signing of Microman, but we will provide updates on his contract status as more information becomes available.

Upon his CMLL departure, Microman made several appearances for AAA between 2022-2024, with his last match for the promotion coming almost exactly one year ago on August 17, 2024.

WWE announced the acquisition of AAA during WrestleMania 41 weekend in April, with several crossover appearances and promotion between the two companies taking place in the months that have followed.

AAA hosts TripleMania XXXIII this Saturday, August 16, with the main event featuring El Hijo del Vikingo defending the AAA Mega Championship against WWE’s Dominik Mysterio, Dragon Lee and El Grande Americano in a four-way.
