Ahead of the October 18 edition of SmackDown, a change has been made to The Motor City Machine Guns’ WWE debut match.
On the October 11 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, GM Nick Aldis announced that he had a hand selected team to face Los Garza on the October 18 episode.
Then, the series of vignettes teasing the arrival of The Motor City Machine Guns to the SmackDown brand revealed that their debut would occur next week.
Many reports have indicated that this would be the WWE debut of Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley.
WWE posted a new video with SmackDown General Manager meeting with The Motor City Machine Guns to officially sign them to a contract with the company.
During the video, Aldis revealed that Sabin and Shelley will face Los Garza and A-Town Down Under in a triple threat match.
Previously, the match was only announced to be two-on-two between Los Garza and the debuting team (MCMG), so it’s been changed to add A-Town Down Under.
Meanwhile, another three-way would feature Street Profits vs. DIY vs. Pretty Deadly on tonight’s show.
The winner of each three-way will then face each other to determine the number one contenders for The Bloodline’s WWE Tag Team Championships on the October 25 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
This three-way with A-Town Down Under and Los Garza will mark The Motor City Machine Guns’ WWE debut match.
