A major name will not be at WWE SmackDown in Norfolk, Virginia tonight due to other obligations for the company.
This past week has been a busy one for WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, including appearances at the All-In Summit, TEDSports Indianapolis, Tony Hinchcliffe’s Kill Tony show and more.
Those obligations led to him not being at WWE Raw on Monday, as he revealed on the Pat McAfee Show.
His travels continued today, as he was in Las Vegas for the announcement of WrestleMania 43 taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
WWE has shared a video confirming that Triple H, along with Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker, are staying in Las Vegas for the WWE & AAA Worlds Collide event tonight.
Undertaker is said to have a big hand backstage in AAA, with Jeremy Borash being the man in charge.
The show starts at 10pm ET, when SmackDown finishes. This of course means that Triple H will not be backstage at SmackDown tonight.
Announced for the show is a Sami Zayn United States Championship open challenge, Brock Lesnar appearing, Randy Orton vs Drew McIntyre, and a WWE Women’s Championship match between Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill.
