Jordynne Grace hasn’t yet been announced for the upcoming TNA Wrestling & WWE NXT crossover special, Showdown, but a current champion has a role in mind.
The former TNA Knockouts Champion and current NXT star shared her annoyance at not being featured on Showdown, noting her importance to the partnership between both companies.
Grace was a surprise entrant at the 2024 Royal Rumble, entering the women’s match with her TNA Knockouts World Championship, going on to sign with WWE the following year.
While she may not be on Showdown at the time of writing, NXT’s Kelani Jordan has a non-wrestling role in mind for Grace.
Responding to Grace’s outrage at being overlooked on Twitter, the current Knockouts World Champion would suggest:
“Okay fine, bring your TNA shirt, and I can fit you in as our mascot.
“As TNA Captain and Knockouts World Champion, that’s the best I can do! 😌🤪”
Jordan leads Team TNA, alongside Jessie McKay, Cassie Lee and Mara Sade, against Team NXT (Jacy Jayne, Jaida Parker, Sol Ruca and Lola Vice) in the women’s Survivor Series match.
With Jordan being a current NXT star, Grace shared her thoughts on the TNA Knockouts Champion representing her own former company, tweeting:
“Industry plant”
In addition to the women’s Survivor Series match, the men’s roster of both companies will be represented by Ricky Saints, Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans & Myles Borne for Team NXT and Mike Santana, Frankie Kazarian, Moose and X Division Champion Leon Slater.
Other matches for the upcoming special include a Winner Takes All match for the TNA World Tag Team Championship & NXT Tag Team Championship between The Hardys and DarkState.
The NXT North American Championship will also be on the line with Ethan Page defending against Mustafa Ali, who made his return two years after his WWE departure, ahead of an announced and scrapped match for that very title.
Okay fine, bring your TNA shirt and I can fit you in as our mascot. As TNA Captain and Knockouts World Champion, that’s the best I can do! 😌🤪 https://t.co/3zp4z2pekS
