TNA Wrestling star Joe Hendry has teased his next appearance for WWE following his surprise appearance on last week’s NXT show.
Social media was abuzz when Hendry made a surprise appearance to kick off last week’s NXT show, where he entered the Battle Royal for a chance to become the number one contender for Trick Williams’ NXT Championship.
While Hendry was the first man eliminated at the hands of current TNA Wrestling rival Frankie Kazarian, a backstage segment with Shawn Michaels teased that he would be showing up again in the future.
Today, Hendry may have teased where we may be able to see him next on WWE television.
Taking a photo in Swansea outside ‘Joe’s’, Hendry tweeted:
Swansea is beautiful today. It’s an absolute Heatwave!
The NXT Heatwave event is set to take place on July 7 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada – the next time the NXT brand hosts a premium live event.
Hendry’s debut appearance on this week’s edition of NXT has become WWE’s most liked Twitter post since WrestleMania 40.
