Jey Uso Addresses Reaction To His WWE King Of The Ring Semi-Final Win: ‘Watch When I Beat Oba Femi’

Jey Uso has addressed the reaction to him winning his King of the Ring semi final match and advancing to the tournament finals at Night of Champions.

The King of the Ring finals are now official, the last finalist determined on the June 19 SmackDown episode.

Friday’s show saw Jey Uso take on Je’Von Evans in the tournament semi-finals, with the former World Heavyweight Champion ultimately scoring the victory.

With Jey Uso being the polarizing star that he is, his semi-final win has received a mixed response to say the least, with some fans interested in seeing a Bloodline-aligned Jey Uso chase gold, and others criticizing the company for continuing to put its eggs in the Jey Uso-shaped basket.

Jey Uso has now taken to his Instagram story to share his latest thoughts on his win following SmackDown.

Looking to the future, he wrote:

“Yall really love me now? Watch when I beat Oba”

Oba Femi notably advanced to the finals on Monday’s (June 15) Raw episode, defeating Dominik Mysterio in their semi-final bout.

Leaning into the reaction, Jey followed up by writing:

“The more u hate on me, the more broke u stay 😂”

The official Usos Twitter account also commented on a post which claimed that fans are “furious” about Jey Uso advancing to the finals.

The account quote-tweeted this post, writing:

Bruh😂😂😂😂 What’s new?!?

Regardless of fans’ opinions of the Yeet man himself, Jey Uso winning the King of the Ring tournament would put him in a pretty interesting situation, having to choose between challenging for his Tribal Chief Roman Reigns‘ World Heavyweight Title or his friend Cody Rhodes‘ Undisputed WWE Championship.

Even so, many fans have voiced concern about the idea of Oba Femi losing yet again, as the Nigerian star regains momentum after losing to Brock Lesnar at Clash In Italy.

With many predicting that Lesnar could cost Femi the King of the Ring crown – leading to the duo having their rubber match at SummerSlam, one thing is for sure; regardless of who is crowned the 2026 King of the Ring, fans will have a lot to say come the eve of June 27.
