Jade Cargill has leaned into her “natural heel” tendencies, by sending a message to her haters ahead of this Sunday’s Clash in Italy 2026 premium live event.
One month after losing her gold to Rhea Ripley at WWE WrestleMania 42, Jade Cargill will get her rematch in just a few days time, when she and “The Eradicator” compete one more time at Clash in Italy 2026 on Sunday, May 31.
While she spent the better part of her first two years in WWE as a babyface, Cargill’s rise to become WWE Women’s Champion at last November’s Saturday Night’s Main Event coincided with a heel turn, something she has embraced throughout 2026 thus far.
Discussing her heel turn during an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, Cargill said:
“I’m a natural heel. People hate what they can’t beat. You know what I’m saying? I look good, I smell good. I’m one of one. Nobody has a body like mine. And this is year round, this is not just for a season, for a competition or whatever you want to call it. I’m just naturally blessed and I’m gorgeous by the way. So it’s not just about the body, it’s about the face as well. There’s not one woman that looks like me, no matter how hard they work. I’m just God-given.
“…It’s so fun (being a heel) and people envy that. People envy what they can’t be and my haters keep me paid. I love it. Good or bad, people talking about me.”

Cargill would then supply her haters with more reasons to dislike her, bringing up how being a wrestler was not something she always wanted to do, and the fact that her first ever match was on national TV alongside Cody Rhodes and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neil.
Cargill continued:
“You gotta think about it, this is not something I always wanted to do. That’s something that people could hate on and being that my first match ever was on live TV with Shaquille O’Neil, against our champion Cody Rhodes. Who gets that unless you’re legacy? No one.
“I was thrown on TV, people can say what they want, but I continue to tread, swim, I’ve been champion. And that’s five years in the game. I’ve always been on main roster.
“Experiment or not, it’s working. So I can see how people can dislike that, although I don’t take advantage of that. I work really really hard from where I’m at, but people are going to hate regardless.”

Jade Cargill’s pro wrestling debut saw her team with Shaquille O’Neil against the team of Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet on the March 3, 2021 edition of AEW Dynamite, with Cargill scoring the win for her team on the night.
While Cargill was doing media for WWE Clash in Italy, Rhea Ripley was competing at WWE’s live event in Liverpool last night (May 28) and “The Eradicator” had a message for her Clash in Italy opponent during that show – click here for full details.
