AEW star Jack Perry has reportedly still not signed a new contract with the company, with Tony Khan addressing his status with the company.
Last week, it was reported that the AEW contract of ‘Jungle’ Jack Perry was set to expire ‘at any moment’, with him still not having signed a new contract with the company.
Perry has been part of the AEW roster since the very start of the company, with him competing in the company’s very first pay-per-view event, Double or Nothing in 2019.
Perry has reigned as a TNT, AEW World Tag Team, National and FTW Champion during his time with the company.

Tony Khan Wants Jack Perry In AEW ‘For A Long Time’
Speaking on the Forbidden Door media call, Tony Khan was asked about the current status of Jack Perry, and his future with AEW.
Khan noted that the plan is for Perry to be part of AEW for a long time, and that he believes that’s going to happen.
He said:
“The plan for AEW and Jack is for Jack to be here for a long time. I have believed that Jack is a great wrestler for many years and I continue to feel that way. I like Jack very much, personally. He has a very bright future in wrestling and a great mind for wrestling. It’s been really gratifying for me and fans (to see) the return of Jungle Jack Perry and seeing fans embrace Jack and the great matches he’s been having. The plan is for Jack Perry to be in AEW for a long time, so that’s going to happen.”

The New Four Pillars Of AEW?
During a recent interview, Tony Khan was asked who he believes to be the current four pillars of AEW are, with Khan naming Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, Mercedes Mone and Thekla as his picks for the current pillars.
Upon the foundation of AEW, the initial four pillars of AEW were named as MJF, Jack Perry, Darby Allin and Sammy Guevara, all of whom found success in the company, albeit to different degrees.
With MJF re-signing with the company back in 2024, Perry leaving AEW would mark the first of the promotion’s four pillars to no longer be with the company, which would certainly be a strange thing to see as a fan.
