An international star has confirmed his arrival in the United States ahead of his excursion in WWE.
After having a send-off match against KENTA on January 11, Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Ulka Sasaki has now confirmed his arrival in Florida by posting a video titled ‘[NXT] I came to the WWE Performance Center’ on his YouTube channel.
As can be seen in the video below, Sasaki begins his journey at Narita Airport before jetting across the world to the U.S. – first arriving in Colorado, before getting another flight to Orlando.
Once settled, Sasaki confirmed he was in the United States to train at the WWE Performance Center:
“So, the reason I came to Orlando, Flordia this time is because I went here for WWE Performance training. This apartment is a place WWE gave me a name for: the WWE apartment. When I entered it said WWE NXT under the TV so I got excited. Yes I am excited.”
“Ok so I arrived at night, and the next morning I had a medical check up at 9am and once the medical check up was ok I could use the ring. But until then I couldn’t use it so that was pretty tough.
“I was wondering what I was going to do to practice but there were a lot of rings and there was a medical team room and also a gym.
“It was a place where everything was in place. There was another facility that had everything, they even do TV matches there so everything was in place.”

Sasaki later revealed that WWE’s Shinsuke Nakamura dropped by at the PC to see him:
“Shinsuke-san came all the way to see me. He taught me all sorts of things.
“He told me where I could buy Japanese colors, shampoos and other things I need for daily life. He was incredibly kind.”

Sasaki has been wrestling for NOAH since 2023, making his debut after competing in mixed martial arts for over a decade.
The Japanese star carries a 36-10 record in MMA and competed several times in the UFC between 2014-2018.
It’s not yet known if/when Sasaki will appear on WWE NXT TV, however, a precedent has been set for NOAH talent doing so following Yoshiki Inamura’s successful stint on the brand in 2024/2025.
We will provide updates on Sasaki’s excursion to the United States and WWE when more details emerge.
