Independent wrestler Effy has become an ambassador of the LGBTQ community in pro wrestling in recent years.
Partnered with GCW, he has promoted three events in the last year. These being the first two Effy’s Big Gay Brunches in October 2020 and April 2021, and Effy’s Big Gay Block in January 2021.
Now, Effy himself has announced that he will be the Celebrity Grand Marshall at the Tampa Pride Parade. The annual parade will be taking place on May 22, 2021. He tweeted the following yesterday:
“Ok I’m allowed to announce it:

In addition to his work in GCW, Effy has also worked for independent promotions such as Beyond Wrestling and Black Label Pro.
