An independent wrestling star who had major previous interest from WWE has now reportedly signed with the company.
Over WWE SummerSlam weekend, WWE held it’s annual tryout, which saw a number of independent wrestling names attend.
Among those names was independent star Rayne Leverkusen, who WWE named as the MVP of the tryout by WWE recruit and Performance Center head coach Matt Bloom, which you can see here.
Last night, Rayne Leverkusen was in action at last night’s Hustle Wrestling show, where she lost the Hustle Championship before seemingly saying her goodbyes to the company.
In an update from Fightful Select (subscription required), it is now believed that Rayne Leverkusen has signed with WWE.
Rayne Leverkusen has established herself on the UK independent scene, wrestling for the likes of PROGRESS, ATTACK! and EVE.
A number of international independent stars recently signed with the company following the tryouts, including Aigle Blanc, who has since debuted on NXT television as Elio LeFleur, with him coming up short in his debut match against Ethan Page for the North American Championship.
